Our story

In 2005, a family business was established in the window and door industry procuring joinery with London properties and clientele in mind. After years of development and market research, and gaining a wealth of knowledge, the directors had the vision to pursue a path in manufacturing.

Research originally began overseas in keeping with the industry trend of the time, but this was quickly dismissed. The team knew the barriers this presented based on previous experience, and the difficulties of an extended supply chain and logistical issues became apparent early in the process. This led them back to the UK, with Cornwall standing out as one of the leading counties for growth in construction.

It was important to the team to support the UK joinery industry, and with their own connections and a wealth of skilled tradesmen to tap into, the decision was made to begin production in the southwest of England.

Nine Zero began in 2017, and a partnership combining 30 years in business and joinery was formed at a perfect time.

Our mission

Nine Zero’s mission was to set standards above the humdrum of mass production outside the UK, which raised issues with product quality and time management.

Following significant investment, the company has gone through major growth and technological advancements, including a 6,000sq/ft workshop in Cornwall, digital, technical and product development systems, which has been pivotal in Nine Zero becoming a market leader in bespoke timber products.

Over the past two years with the combination of a team of highly skilled craftsmen and joiners as well as the introduction of new state of the art machinery, Nine Zero has been able to launch products that are second to none in both aesthetics and performance on a sustainable level.

Quality is a value Nine Zero has been dedicated to from day one. We have meticulously sourced a team of skilled craftsmen to manufacture our products within the joinery workshops.

Sustainability is at the forefront of our manufacturing process, sourcing FSC-certified materials right across the board, as well as recycling all of our timber waste for use on surrounding farms, and providing a source of renewable energy to the local dwellings.
